The younger sibling to the Dorchester, 45 Park Lane takes a more contemporary approach to luxury, with views over Hyde Park from its address on Park Lane. It is also home to CUT by Wolfgang Puck, a steakhouse worth knowing about whether or not you are staying.

Brown's, on Albemarle Street, was founded in 1837 and is now part of the Rocco Forte group, reimagined without losing its sense of history. The Donovan Bar is the room to know: it is dedicated to the photographer Terence Donovan and hung with his work. Afternoon tea is the other reason to come.

Claridge's on Brook Street has been the Mayfair address of choice for royalty, heads of state and cultural figures for over a century. The Art Deco interiors are the draw, and the service is as polished as the setting. Book afternoon tea if you want the full picture without taking a room.

Flemings Mayfair is a Victorian townhouse hotel on Half Moon Street: discreet, boutique and set in a genuinely historic building, steps from Green Park. Its restaurant, Ormer Mayfair, holds a Michelin star under chef Sofian Msetfi and is reason enough to come. Check opening days before booking, as Michelin last listed it as open on Wednesdays only.
££££Park Lane · Hyde Park Corner
The Four Seasons sits on Hamilton Place at Hyde Park Corner, with panoramic views across the park. Go for the rooftop spa, then stay for dinner: the hotel restaurant is now Pavyllon London by Yannick Alléno, which has held a Michelin star since 2024, with Pavyllon Lounge and Bar Antoine alongside.

The Beaumont is an Art Deco hotel on Brown Hart Gardens that feels like a love letter to 1920s London. The old Colony Grill Room has gone: since autumn 2025 its place has been taken by Rosi, from Lisa Goodwin-Allen. For a drink, there are two bars, Le Magritte and The Gatsby Room.

The Berkeley sits on Wilton Place in Knightsbridge, SW1X, so strictly speaking it lies outside Mayfair rather than in it. The reason to cross over is the rooftop pool, with the Berkeley Bar & Terrace for a drink and La Môme London now occupying the restaurant space. It works as a destination in its own right, not just a place to stay.

The Connaught on Carlos Place combines the warmth of a private house with the resources of a grand hotel. Its Connaught Bar was ranked number one in the world in 2020 and 2021, and placed sixth on the global bars list in 2025. Hélène Darroze's three-starred restaurant is under the same roof.

The Dorchester sits at 53 Park Lane, with views over Hyde Park. Its headline restaurant is Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester, which holds three Michelin stars. The Grill and China Tang are under the same roof, though neither is starred, so book accordingly.
