Legal
Terms of Use
These terms apply to every visitor and every paid subscriber of OnlyMayfair. By using the site you accept them.
Last updated: 15 May 2026
1. Who we are
OnlyMayfair is an independent editorial publication operated by Bloodstone Ltd (“OnlyMayfair”, “we”, “us”, “our”), registered in England & Wales. References to “you” in these terms mean the natural person or legal entity using the site.
2. Editorial content
Our articles, venue listings, and recommendations are editorial opinion provided for general information. They are not professional, medical, legal, financial, or travel advice. Details about venues (menus, opening hours, pricing, booking links, dress codes) can change without notice; always verify with the venue directly before relying on them.
Mentions of venues, brands, and people are editorial; we do not accept payment for inclusion or for favourable coverage. Tier-based partnerships affect placement and badging only, not editorial selection.
3. Paid listings and subscriptions
We offer four paid listing tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum) on a monthly rolling subscription. Pricing is displayed on our pricing page and is in GBP, plus VAT where applicable.
- Subscription start. Your subscription begins when payment is successfully processed by our payment partner Stripe.
- Billing. You are charged monthly in advance on the anniversary of activation. You authorise us to charge your saved payment method until you cancel.
- Changes. You may upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades are prorated; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Email info@onlymayfair.com to cancel, or use the Stripe customer portal if available. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused time except where required by law.
- Right to cancel (consumers). If you are a consumer (not acting in the course of business), you have 14 days from purchase to cancel for a full refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, unless your subscription has already been performed (i.e. your listing has gone live), in which case you waive the right to cancel by activating it. Most subscriptions are business-to-business.
- Failed payments. If we are unable to charge your payment method, your listing tier may revert to Free until payment is restored.
4. Editorial fees and bespoke campaigns
Editorial features, newsletter sponsorships, and bespoke campaigns are arranged separately and governed by the statement of work or letter of engagement we send you. In the event of any conflict, the SOW takes precedence over these general terms for the campaign in question.
5. Your obligations as a venue or partner
- You must be authorised to subscribe on behalf of the venue or brand you represent.
- Information you supply must be accurate, lawful, and not infringe any third party rights.
- Images, logos, and copy supplied to us must be ones you have the right to publish.
- You authorise OnlyMayfair to display your name, logo, photography, and supplied descriptions on the site, in our newsletter, and in our marketing during your subscription period, on a non-exclusive basis.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site or its content for any unlawful purpose.
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content without our prior written permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, account, or infrastructure.
- Use the site in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its performance.
- Submit defamatory, false, or misleading content via any form on the site.
7. Intellectual property
All editorial content (articles, photography commissioned by us, design, layout, and code) is owned by Bloodstone Ltd or licensed to us. You may share and link to articles for personal, non-commercial purposes, crediting OnlyMayfair. Commercial reuse requires prior written permission - email press@onlymayfair.com.
8. Third-party links and images
Articles may link to or display images sourced from third-party publications, venue press kits, or brand websites. We attribute sources where reasonably possible. If you are the rights holder of any image you wish removed, email info@onlymayfair.com and we will remove it promptly.
9. Liability
OnlyMayfair is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We exclude all implied conditions, warranties, and representations.
- We are not liable for any loss of profit, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.
- For paid subscribers, our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid us in that period.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
10. Privacy
Our handling of your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Changes
We may amend these terms from time to time. If we make material changes that affect paid subscribers, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence as required by law.
